This episode was inspired because I have developed a video game and looking for ways to get into the marketplace. I noticed that there were a lot of people that have developed games and still looking for ways to get into the video game scene. From speaking with the panel, they also knew of similar instances were it had occurred to someone else that knew.
That is when the concept for The Gamer’s Channel: IP Wars, Can an IP Get A Break was born.
For the sake of this post, IP is short for Intellectual Property. Intellectual Property is any video game or other property (music, movie, product,…) that you develop. This is a very simplified definition so I would recommend speaking with an Intellectual Property lawyer for a better definition and how to protect it.

We looked at different things that a person that is new IP must compete against to get into the marketplace.
